Irma W. Dreyer, 89, of Perryville, Missouri passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 6, 2026 at her home.
She was born April 24, 1937 in New Wells, MO to the late Albert and Olga M (Hente) Detjen.
She and Alfred Lowell Dreyer were married at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna, MO on December 10, 1960. He preceded her in death.
Irma was a member of the Legion Auxiliary, Lutheran Mixed Bowling League, and the LWML. She enjoyed going to St. Louis Cardinals Baseball games and watching them play on TV. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include three sons, Harold (Tracy) Dreyer of Columbia, TN, Richard (Brandi) Dreyer of Jackson, MO, Larry (Michelle) Dreyer of Perryville, MO; three brothers, Harold Detjen of Cape Girardeau, MO, Clinton (Carol) Detjen of Perryville, MO, and Raymond Detjen of Perryville, MO; one sister, Viona Powell of High Ridge, MO; six grandchildren, Dustin, Madison, Drew, Audrey (Charlie Barbeau), Nathaniel, and Faith Dreyer; and two great-grandchildren, Lixian, and Jennivyra.
Along with her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bernice Boxdorfer, Dorothy Weber, and Mildred Braeuner; as well as five brothers, Ruben, Marvin, Milton, Hugo, and Clarence Detjen.
Friends may call 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, October 12, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.Visitation will continue from 8:00 am to 9:50 am Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church Perryville in with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating.
Burial will be at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to Immanuel Lutheran School Tuition Fund.
