Valle Catholic High School is proud to announce that Ada Joe Bley has been named the September Elks Student of the Month!

Ada Joe is the daughter of Amanda (’02) and Joseph Bley. After graduation, she plans to attend John A. Logan, where she will play volleyball while completing her prerequisites. She then plans to enroll in a nursing program to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Her career goal is to become a traveling nurse in either the NICU or a pediatric unit.
Ada Joe plans to major in Nursing. Her extracurricular activities include varsity basketball and varsity softball as a freshman, varsity track and field from sophomore through senior year, and varsity volleyball from freshman through senior year. She has also served as freshman class secretary, sophomore and junior class president, Student Council member from freshman through junior year, Student Council president her senior year, and an ambassador from sophomore through senior year.
Her honors and awards include Top History Student from freshman through junior year; Top Student in Biology, Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, Anatomy, Algebra II, and German II; the Love of Learning Award in Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, and Anatomy; Queen of the Quiz and Fetal Pig Master in Anatomy; Top Theology Student from freshman through junior year; recognition as one of the Liturgical Ministers at Mass for volunteering the most; and recognition as one of the top students in English from freshman through junior year. She has also earned Volleyball Academic All-State honors from freshman through junior year, volleyball All-Conference honors sophomore and junior years, volleyball All-District and All-State honors her junior year, All-District honors in javelin and triple jump her junior year, and All-Conference honors in javelin her sophomore and junior years. In addition, she was named Most Improved Player and Most Coachable Player in volleyball her freshman year and received the Citizenship Honor Award from the General Federation of Women’s Clubs of Missouri.
