COLUMBIA, Mo. – As tax regulations and guidance evolve, tax preparers need up to date information. University of Missouri Extension’s Fall Tax Schools will help tax professionals sharpen their knowledge and prepare for the tax season with two days of focused, timely training.
The Fall Tax Schools, which will be offered at three locations statewide, will cover topics affecting individual, business and agricultural practices. Participants will work from the 2026 National Income Tax Workbook, published by the Land Grant University Tax Education Foundation.

- Columbia: Oct. 26-27
- Springfield: Oct. 28-29
- Online: Dec. 3-4

“The Fall Tax Schools give tax preparers an opportunity to stay current on tax changes and dig into issues they are likely to encounter in their work,” said Mary Sobba, MU Extension agricultural business specialist. “In addition to the information provided, participants will learn from experienced instructors and have access to searchable databases and materials that can extend their learning beyond the classroom.”
