Ste. Genevieve Elementary School celebrates reading and Dr. Seuss

STE. GENEVIEVE – It was an exciting week at Ste. Genevieve celebrating reading and Dr Seuss’ birthday.

Each day of the week, students dressed up in themes related to a book.

On Wednesday, an assembly was held to honor Dr. Seuss and share the joy of reading.

Two special guests that were at the assembly were Natlie Heberlie and Kenzie Wolk, both of Ste. Genevieve. They shared a book that was written by Ms. Heberlie and illustrated by Ms. Wolk called Lion Protector.

The Cat in the Hat, along with Thing 2 and Thing 2, visited classrooms to spread smiles and laughter.

And a big shout out to Guest Readers who visited various classrooms throughout the week to share their favorite books. Thank you to all of these participants and the teachers and staff at SGE for making a memorable week for all.
