Norma Jean Steffens, 86, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 7, 1940 to Albert and Margaret (Biermann) Meyerhoff.
Norma and Robert “Bob” Steffens were married on August 17, 1963. He preceded her in death on October 20, 2017.
She worked as an administrator for American Care Center and Terrace Gardens. Norma loved quilting, camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, LWML and Ladies Aid.
Survivors include son, Darrel (Donna) Steffens; two daughters, Debra (Scott) Brown, Dawn (Gary Schumer) Hadler; sister, Ruby (John) Brown; six grandchildren, Brooke (Jordan) Baker, Kari (Brian) Buerck, Shawn (Morgan) Hadler, Tiffany (Justin) Masters, Amber (Hunter Jackson) Schwettman, Brittany (Tyler Weibrecht) Steffens; seven great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Roger Meyerhoff; two sisters, Arlene Hougland, Brenda Beattie and son-in-law, Greg Hadler.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue from 8:00 am to 9:50 am on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with Rev. Steven Theiss officiating.
Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Farrar.
Memorial contributions may be given to Salem Lutheran Church or Saxony Lutheran High School.
