STE. GENEVIEVE — The Ste. Genevieve County R-II School District’s Transportation Department continues to set the standard for student transportation safety, earning a 100 percent pass rate on the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s annual school bus inspection. The department’s performance far exceeded the statewide average of 84.3 percent.
Transportation Director Mr. Ken Jones credited the achievement to the dedication and teamwork of the department’s staff. He recognized mechanics James and Corey, as well as Buck, Mary Ellen and Debbie, along with the district’s bus drivers for their commitment to maintaining safe, reliable buses for students each day.
“This achievement reflects the professionalism and pride our transportation team brings to their work every day,” Mr. Jones said. “Every inspection begins long before the Highway Patrol arrives. Our staff is committed to making sure every bus is safe, dependable and ready to transport our students.”
The perfect inspection record underscores the district’s continued commitment to providing safe, reliable transportation for students and reflects the hard work of the employees who keep the fleet operating at the highest level.
