Area Girl Scouts attend National Council Session in Washington, D.C.

GLEN CARBON — The Girl Scouts of Southern Illinois (GSofSI) is in attendance at the 58th National Council Session (NCS) of Girl Scouts of the USA, which kicked off on July 20 in Washington, DC.

 

The NCS is the primary business meeting held every three years for Girl Scouts of the USA where elected delegates from around the country and overseas gather to vote on and discuss national issues important to the Movement, and elect national leaders for the next triennium.
