SPARTA, IL —Sparta Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Sara Malone, MD, a board-certified family medicine physician, to the medical team at Steeleville Clinic.
Dr. Malone provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families of all ages, from children to adults. She emphasizes prevention, early diagnosis, and long-term management of chronic conditions, helping patients stay healthy at every stage of life.
“As a Steeleville resident, I’m excited to bring my experience back to my community and continue caring for patients close to home,” said Dr. Malone.
Dr. Malone earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Malone brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership and medical education, including senior leadership roles with SIH Medical Group and service as an Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine.
