Mo State Fair – Senior Appreciation Day August 19

SEDALIA – The Missouri State Fair will  celebrate  senior citizen fairgoers on Senior Appreciation Day, Wednesday, Aug. 19.

Special events just for seniors on Aug. 19 include:  

  • Senior eventsin the Mathewson Exhibition Center including BINGO, line dance lessons, vendors and exhibits.
  • Missouri Waltzand Other Dance contests featuring music by the County Liners.

 

  • Missouri Rehabilitation for the Blind will offer free vision screenings for seniors in the Senior Lounge, sponsored by AT&T and Nabholz Construction. The Senior Lounge is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily for seniors who are looking for a place to cool off, grab a drink and get their free tram ride stickers, sponsored by the Missouri State Fairgrounds.
