Time to register for the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Back to School Drive-Thru event set for July 22

STE. GENEVIEVE, MO – The Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Back to School Drive-Thru Fair is back and registration is now open. The drive-thru fair is scheduled for Wednesday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the hospital’s back parking lot across from the fire department.

Families with students from preschool to high school can get a jump on school supplies.  Parents drive up to the back of the hospital through the circle drive to pick up school supplies and other health and educational information.

“The program has proven to be a big help to parents and students each year,” commented Tina Poston, marketing director, SGCMH.

As in previous years, students will receive a backpack and school supplies such as pencils, notebooks, pens and erasers to give them a start on completing their supply list.  And, just like last year they will receive a sack lunch for the day.

“It is a great way to help the students in the community get ready for school where the need is greater than ever,” commented Poston. “Parents and students will drive-up, load up and have a leg-up to start the school year.”

Support comes from community organizations and businesses all over the area including Community Counseling Center, SGCMH Medical Staff, and SGCMH Friends Foundation.

Registration is required.  To register call 573-883-7791.
