June 4th Friday Art Walk is next week

STE. GENEVIEVE – On Friday June 26, from 6-9 pm, TEN art spaces in downtown Ste Genevieve will be open for the 4th Friday Art Walk!

The Ste Genevieve Art Guild on Merchant Street has the current art guild member show up in the gallery.  Outside, the Guild is hosting visiting artist Konstantin Kublanov, a painter and graphic artist who has participated in many of Ste Genevieve’s Plein Air painting events.  Kublanov will be painting through the late afternoon and evening, and he will be selling many oil paintings that he has made of beloved Ste Genevieve historic buildings.

The Silver Sycamore Gallery on Market Street is highlighting the art works of many local artists.  Stop in the Silver Sycamore and the Art Guild to see so many talented artists who call Ste Genevieve and its surrounding communities “Home.”

Around the corner from the Silver Sycamore, ASL Pewter and Foundry will be open.  They are pleased to be showcasing hand struck coins in celebration of America’s 250th Birthday.  Come out and celebrate the semiquincentennial with Tom and Pat Hooper!

On Merchant Street, Pop of Color Artisan Boutique will be open for the Art Walk.  This new little storefront carries over 30 local artisans work- all from within a 60 mile radius of Ste Genevieve.

Head South on Main Street to Two Rivers Gallery to see the work of acclaimed painter Bryan Haynes.  Haynes’ work tells stories of the history of our heartland region.

Wander farther down Main Street to Little Bohemia where five artists’ storefronts will be open.

At E.KleK.Tix, painter Jean Rissover will be celebrating Ste Genevieve’s French heritage and her own Birthday with an evening we’ll call Let Them Eat Cake!  Stop in and celebrate with Jean- and birthday cake!

Music, Art, Love will be featuring a group art exhibition by members of the Gateway Fine Artists collective.  Mixed-media art by Laura Kemper will also be available.  And stay for a while to enjoy country/folk/rock music by singer/songwriter Stephen Kemper.

Only Child Originals will offer hand made one-of-a-kind jewelry by Sam Conlon.

Rust Artisan Shop has recycled metal art and hand knit hats and scarves by local crafters.

At the far end of Main Street, CJoy Art Works will be open featuring the original clay pieces and paintings by artist Christina Joy Elsen.

The Art Walk is FREE and everyone is welcome!
