CHESTER – Chester High School had its 2026 Honors Night on Wednesday evening, May 13.
Three Sharp Scholarships, provided by Prof. James Franklin Sharp were presented to graduating seniors in the CHS Class of 2026.

Professor Sharp is a 1954 Graduate of CHS. He lives and works in the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.
Professor Sharp has provided Scholarships to CHS Ggraduating seniors for 27 years,
starting in 2000.
The Rosanna Sharp-Myers Scholarship is for a CHS Cheerleader.
Prof. Sharp’s sister, Rosanna, was a CHS Cheerleader.
The Jake Sharp Scholarship is for the child of a Menard employee.
Prof. Sharp’s father, Jake Sharp, was at Menard for a very long time.
The Edna Sharp Scholarship is for a future teacher.
Prof. Sharp’s mother, Edna Sharp, was a teacher.
