STE. GENEVIEVE – – Congratulations to Gavin Zerwig, Ste. Genevieve High School’s Rotary Student of the Month for May. Gavin is the son of Shanna and James Zerwig.
Gavin’s scholastic honors include: ranking 18th in his graduating class, earning Summa Cum Laude for three semesters and receiving a superscore of 31 on the ACT. Gavin has been a member of the following teams, clubs and organizations: cross country, track and field, Math Team, German Club and Scholar Bowl. He earned All-Conference in both cross country and Scholar Bowl.
Gavin is employed as a lifeguard at the Ste. Genevieve YMCA. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, taking on creative projects, running, playing airsoft, going on long summer bike rides and listening to metal music while debating favorite bands and subgenres with his dad.
Gavin plans on attending Jefferson College before transferring to Missouri S&T to study mechanical engineering.
