STE. GENEVIEVE – The Church of Ste. Genevieve’s parishioners conducted a service on Sunday, May 17th to pray for our Country as it celebrates its 250th anniversary.

The service included singing of patriotic songs, saying of a rosary for protection of people in all 50 states and for government officials, reading of Psalm 91, and a reading of the prayer delivered on September 7, 1774, as the First Continental Congress convened in Philadelphia to coordinate a colonial response to British encroachments.
The event ended with the singing of the “Star Spangled Banner.”
Meg’s Soda Shoppe provided participants with a red, white, and blue soda after the event.
