JACKSON, MO – This summer, Unearth a Riverside Story!! Riverside Regional Library’s Summer Program kicks off on June 1 at all our library branches.
Throughout June and July, our libraries will feature awesome performers and great programs for all ages. Come roar with the dinosaurs, uncover hidden histories, and explore the past. A wide variety of free events for all ages are planned from crafts for all ages to activities for the whole family. “We’re really digging our programs this summer and are thrilled to invite everyone in the community to attend our free programs and unearth a story with us.
“We really appreciate the local businesses and organizations which have donated funds and prizes to this program and the amazing individuals who will assist us with programming. We couldn’t do this program without the community’s support.” states Library Director Frankie Lea Hannan.
The special performers this year include Mad Science on June 3 and 4, Wildheart Music on June 10 and 11, and Fishin’ Magician on July 15 and 16. Cape Conservation Nature Center’s programs will be on July 7 and 8 and meet a real paleontologist on July 27 and 28.
