A funeral will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 for 83-year-old Thomas Arnold Brown of Corinth, Texas who passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022.
He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 2, 1938, the son of Arnold Jones Brown and Marie Berg Brown.
He married Janet Lou Wilson on December 22, 1980, in Dallas, Texas at the Dallas County Courthouse. She survives in Corinth, Texas.
He is also survived by two children: Erin (Kevin) McAnally of Lewisville, Texas and Greg T. (Sheryl) Brown of Joshua, Texas; two granddaughters: Macy Marie McAnally and Meghan Brown McAnally; two sisters: Carole (Gary) Bunker of the state of Utah and Sherrie (Ron) Ulicny of the state of Oregon and several nieces and nephews.
He graduated from University of Utah with a BS Degree and a member Kappa Sigma Fraternity.
He and Jan were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He retired from Medicare Insurance sales after 18 years and was in computer sales for most of his life at different companies such as IBM.
Tom, as he rather be called, enjoyed playing golf and watching NFL Football.
He loved sales because he loved talking with people. Complimented as always smiling and friendly; people praised him for his helpful manner.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Ill
A funeral for Thomas Arnold Brown of Corinth, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, Illinois.
Interment will be in the Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Thomas A Brown.
