PCSD No. 32 releases summary of May 4 special meeting

PERRYVILLE – Perry County School District No. 32 has released this summary of the proceedings of its May 4th special meeting.

 

The special open session was called to order at 6 p.m. and the pledge of allegiance was recited.

 

C.J. Huff with HaloRRS, Mike Reik with Raymond James, Stephen Telscher with SAPP Architects, and Colin Rogers with Brockmiller were present to discuss storm recovery. The board approved putting a ballot to the voters in August.

 

The following motions were approved during the board meeting:

 

1) Resignations

  1. a) Stacy Manche, food services
  2. b) Susan Barton, paraprofessional teacher aide
  3. c) Melisa Rittenberg, bus driver
  4. d) Katelyn Burns, teacher

 

2) Hires

  1. a) 2026-2027 school year
  2. i) Isabel Braun – High School Assistant Cheerleading Coach
  3. ii) Katelyn Schumer – High School Assistant Cheerleading Coach

                        iii) Luke Ritter – High School Assistant Boys Basketball Coach
