Reva Jane Winkler, 89, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the Independence Care Center.
She was born July 18, 1936 in Patton, MO to James and Glenna (Heaps) Sitze.
Reva and Eugene Winkler were married August 28, 1954. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1988.
She worked as a cook at the Knights of Columbus Hall and at the Perry County Nutrition Center. Reva enjoyed quilting, cooking, reading and crossword puzzles.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Bruce, Donna (Bill) Buerck; two sons, Michael (Becky) Winkler, Steve (Sherry) Winkler; three brothers, James Sitze, Eddie (Brenda) Fadler, Larry Fadler; 10 grandchildren, Billy (Danielle) Buerck, Lani (Jacob) Dzik, Stephanie (Jacob) Sutterer, Sabrina Winkler, Nick Bruce, Ashley Bruce, John Sampson, Jenny Sampson, Amy (Evan) Kay, Chad Winkler and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Sharon Sampson; two brothers, Perry Sitze, Tommy Fadler; son-in-law, Orland Bruce.
Visitation will be from 7:30 am to 9:30 am on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:15 am.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Thursday, May 14, 2026 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Fred Wandera C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul School Systems or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
