ST. LOUIS – A St. Agnes Catholic School student is one of the top three winners in a recent art contest.

Henry Vogt came in 3rd in the upper elementary category with his sketch entitled “Jury Duty”.
Students from all over Eastern Missouri created artwork for the annual art competition hosted by the Judicial Learning Center in St. Louis. Grades 1-12 were invited to submit entries about the importance of the American jury system. The 2026 competition connected jury service to the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Winners were chosen in each of four grade level categories: Lower elementary, upper elementary, middle school, and high school. In each category, first, second, and third place winners were chosen. Several additional artworks received honorable mentions.
First through third places will receive a cash prize provided by the Judicial Learning Center, and all will receive a certificate, a ribbon, and their work will be displayed in the Jury Assembly Room on the 1st floor of the Thomas F. Eagleton U.S. Courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri, for one year.
