Two persons hurt in a crash on Route D in Ste. Genevieve County

JEFFERSON CITY — Two persons were hurt in a traffic crash Saturday morning on Route D in Ste. Genevieve County.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 45-year-old Potosi man received minor injuries and was taken to Parkand Health Center in Farmington by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance and a 40-year-old Pilot Knob woman had moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital South by an Air Evac 80 helicopter. The Potosi man was the driver of a 2011 GMC Terrain. The Pilot Knob woman was a passenger in the Terrain.

 

The patrol says the crash happened when a westbound 1999 Ford F250 driven by a 69-year-old Ste. Genevieve woman entered the intersection of Route D and Route HH and was struck in the left side by the northbound 2011 GMC Terrain.

 

The driver of the F250 was uninjured.

 

The crash happened about 8:20 a.m. Saturday, at the intersection of Route D and Route HH.
