Lt. Governor David Wasinger to highlight 30+ Missouri businesses at Annual Buy Missouri Day

From the Office of the Lt. Gov.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger has announced that Buy Missouri Day will return to the Missouri State Capitol on Wednesday, April 29, bringing together more than 30 businesses from across the state for a showcase of Missouri-made products and homegrown success stories.

Held in the first-floor rotunda from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the annual event will transform the Capitol into a marketplace celebrating the strength, innovation, and craftsmanship of Missouri businesses. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet business owners, sample products, and learn more about companies helping drive the state’s economy.

“Buy Missouri Day is a tremendous opportunity to spotlight the hardworking men and women who build, grow, and create right here in our state,” said Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger. “Every time Missourians choose a Missouri-made product, they are supporting local jobs, strengthening communities, and investing in the future of our state.”

Buy Missouri continues to expand as one of the state’s premier economic development initiatives, now representing more than 670 Missouri businesses and more than 50 retail partners committed to promoting local products. The program connects consumers with producers and helps Missouri companies grow their reach both inside and outside the state.

The annual Capitol event also gives participating businesses an opportunity to connect with state leaders, network with fellow entrepreneurs, and introduce their products to hundreds of visitors.

“We are honored to welcome businesses from every corner of Missouri to the Capitol,” added Anna Littrell, Director of Buy Missouri. “This initiative continues to grow, and Wednesday’s event will perfectly highlight the diverse and high-quality goods that our members produce every day.”
