Philip “Phil” R. Burger, 75, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at his residence.
He was born November 7, 1950 in St. Louis , MO to Philip S. and Elizabeth A. (Fiebig) Burger.
He was as a machinist in the aviation field. Phil was a member of River
Hills Eagles Aerie #4044, Perryville Elks #2701, VFW #4282, and Knights
of Columbus #1263. He was a board member for the Crisis Intervention
Team (CIT) for several years.
Phil loved to travel. He never met a stranger and was always kind and loving. He was always good for a laugh or joke.
Survivors include one son, Scott (Laura) Swindler; three daughters, Susan (Jason) Hamlin, Kandyce (Ron) Mifflin, Kaytlin (Vincent) Mifflin; significant other, Crystal Mansker; ten grandchildren, Dale, Chase, Faye, Braeden, Gabe, Alana, Evelyn, Kai, Kylie, Ellianna.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Audrey (Brown) Burger; son, Greg Burger.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with burial at the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in St. Mary, MO.
