STE. GENEVIEVE – Recently, Bloomsdale Elementary and Ste. Genevieve Elementary students were recognized with awards for contests sponsored by VFW Auxiliary 2210!

“Illustrating America” Art Contest
- Grades K – 2:
- 2nd Place: Grant Sheldon, 2nd Grade, Bloomsdale Elementary

- Grades 3 – 5:
- 1st Place: Avery Clark, 5th Grade, Ste. Genevieve Elementary
- 2nd Place: Madalynn Portwood, 5th Grade, Ste. Genevieve Elementary

Students have the opportunity to utilize their creativity and artistic expression. Entries are judged on patriotic theme and technique. These students received cash prizes, and their artwork was advanced to the state-level competitions.
Each of the students received a cash prize, and for her first-place entries, Avery Clark will advance to the state-level competition!
