Preceded in Death By: Wife Norma (Bahr) Klein; Son, Jimmy Klein; Father, Edward Klein; Mother, Mary (Stoll) Klein; Brother-in-law, Oswald Gegg; Step-Son, Rodney Milfelt; Nephew, Jeff Gegg; Nephew, Mark Gegg

 

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, MO on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm and Wednesday, April 29, 2026 from 8:00 am till 9:00 am

 

Service will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zell, MO on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 am.

 

Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, MO with full military honors provided by VFW Post 2210, Sainte Genevieve, MO

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association, Serenity Hospice, or Masses

 

He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Zell, American Legion Post 150, Knights of Columbus Council 1037, proudly served his country in the Army, and he was a eucharistic minister.

 

Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He was a diehard baseball fan, and rooted for the Cardinals, unless they were playing the Braves. Jim was also a football fan and rooted for the 49ers. He was a collector of John Deere tractors and was happiest when he was riding one.

 

Most importantly, Jim loved his family more than anything. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
