Jacqueline A. Bert, 86, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 4:16 am, Friday, April 10, 2026 in Lebanon, Missouri.
She was born to the late James and Adele (nee Pumphrey) Rose on April 2, 1940 in DeSoto, Illinois.
Jacqueline had worked as an office manager for Beverly Enterprises until her retirement.
She attended Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester, Illinois. Jacqueline enjoyed reading, St. Louis Cardinal Baseball and spending time with family and friends.

and Aundrea (Jacob) Briggs of Lebanon, MO; Two Siblings: Jill (Tom) Snider of Percy, IL and Jean Loeh of Steeleville, IL; One Brother-in-law: Bruce Kettmann of Steeleville, IL; Four Grandchildren:
Ethan Patton, Jeremy Patton, Ashley Dietz and Tyler Dietz; Two Great Grandchildren: Theo Patton and Brody Dietz; A Close Friend: Marlene Verdun; A Niece: Chelly Gilliam and Many Cousins and Friends
She was Preceded in Death by her Parents, Step Father – Henry Loeh, a Sister – Jo Ann Kettmann and a Nephew – Michael Kettmann.
Visitation will be Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, Chester, IL.
A Memorial Service for 86-year-old Jacqueline A. Bert of Chester, IL will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Pechacek Funeral Homes, Chester, IL. Officiating: Father Sebastian Ukoh.
Inurnment Will be held at a later date at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in DuQuoin, IL.
Memorials may be made to the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Chester, IL or to the Maple Creek Hospice.
