Guardians of Liberty in Southeast Missouri presents 1776-2026 Then and Now

CAPE GIRARDEAU – The Guardians of Liberty in Southeast Missouri presents 1776-2026 Then and Now with special guests Alex Newman and Twila Brase.

 

Alex Newman is an award‑winning international journalist, educator, author, and consultant whose work spans major U.S. and global publications. He serves as president of Liberty Sentinel Media, Inc. and is widely recognized for his investigative reporting and commentary on education, geopolitics, and public policy. His articles appear in outlets such as WND, FreedomProject Media, The New American, and the Law Enforcement Intelligence Brief. In addition to his journalism, Newman speaks around the world on issues related to freedom, education, and constitutional governance, and he approaches all of his work with a commitment to glorifying God. Twila Brase, RN, PHN, is co‑founder and president of Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom and a nationally recognized voice on patient privacy, health policy, and the impact of government regulation on medical care. She is the author of Big Brother in the Exam Room: The Dangerous Truth about Electronic Health Records, a widely cited examination of how digital systems affect patient autonomy and physician practice. Brase frequently addresses topics such as the limits of HIPAA privacy protections, the expanding role of artificial intelligence in medicine, and the implications of federal identification mandates, including REAL ID. She is known for clarifying misconceptions—such as the claim that Americans will be unable to fly after May 7, 2025, without a REAL ID—and for equipping the public with practical, policy‑grounded insights.
