JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 20-year-old male driver received minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash on I-55 in Perry County Saturday morning.
The patrol says the man was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by a Mercy Perry Ambulance. The patrol says the man was buckled up.
According to the accident report, the man was the driver of a northbound 2023 Isuzu box truck which ran off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck the cable median barrier.
The truck had extensive damage and was towed by Boyd’s Towing.
The crash happened about 7:10 a.m. at the 119 mile marker.
