Fr. Thomas Michael Croak C.M., 87, of Perryville, Missouri entered eternal rest Monday, March 23, 2026 at St. Mary’s of the Barrens, Apostle of Charity Residence.
He was born November 17, 1938 in St. Louis, MO to Edward Patrick and Donna Kathleen (Ayers) Croak.
Fr. Thomas Croak C.M. was a Roman Catholic Priest and member of the Congregation of the Mission. He entered the Novitiate at St. Mary’s of the Barrens, Perryville on May 26, 1956. He Professed Vows at St. Mary’s of the Barrens, Perryville on May 27, 1961. He was ordained as a Deacon at St. Mary’s of the Barrens, Perryville on May 23, 1964. He was ordained as a Priest at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Chicago on May 27, 1965. He was also History Teacher and Civil Lawyer.
Survivors include Brother, Ron (Rose) Croak of St. Louis, MO; Sister, Mary (Lawrence) Koenig of St. Louis, MO; Several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brother, Edward Croak; Sister, Patricia Mizerany.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2026 with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm and will continue Monday, March 30 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the Mary Mother of God Chapel in the Apostle of Charity Residence in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Mary Mother of God Chapel in the Apostle of Charity Residence with the Rev. Michael Joyce C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at the Vincentian Community Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Congregation of the Mission.
