Maxine Hellen Lohmann

Maxine Hellen Lohmann, 72, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 at her residence.

She was born December 25, 1953 in Denver, CO to Gale and Gertrude (Stelling) Harris.

She and Walter P. Lohmann were married on June 24, 1972 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, MO.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. She served as a 4H leader for over 30 years, as President of Master Gardeners, and a passionate supporter of Operation Christmas Child.

Survivors include mother, Gertrude Harris; three sons, Timothy Lohmann, Adam (Kelly) Lohmann, Patrick (Kimberly) Lohmann; daughter, Elizabeth (Christopher) Buerck; four sisters, Jane Bludworth, Violet (Norman) Hellwege, Sarah Randolph, Debra (David) Stueve; twelve grandchildren, Noah (Jessica) Lohmann, Alex Lohmann, Kelty Lohmann, Kinsley Lohmann, Engel Lohmann, Henry Lohmann, George Lohmann, Lauren (Zachary ) Garrett, Emily (Mitchell) Kronsbein, Justin (Katie) Buerck, Anna Buerck, Dillon (Christen) Cissell; two great-grandchildren, Riley Lohmann, Marshall Kronsbein, and one on the way, Avery Lohmann.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gale Harris; husband, Walter P. Lohmann, Jr.; brother-in-law, Dale Bludworth.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville. Visitation will continue 8:00 am to 9:50 am at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.

Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Friday, March 27, 2026 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with the Rev. John Philip Hellwege Jr. officiating.

Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Farrar.

Memorial contributions may be given to Salem Lutheran Church.
