STE. GENEVIEVE – Several members of the Ste. Genevieve Middle School Band participated recently in the 2026 MAJHAA All Conference Band!
These students had the opportunity to rehearse and perform alongside top middle school musicians from across the conference under the direction of guest conductor Mr. Paul Fliege.
The ensemble performed a diverse program that included a John Philip Sousa march, a selection from the musical “Wicked,” and music by Green Day.
SGMS Band members who participated in the MAJHAA All-Conference Band were: (front row, from left): Seth Richardson, Shaelyn Wolk and Richard Johnson, Jr. and (back row from left): Brooke Eads, Kaleb Wolk, Levi Smalley, and Ryker Basler.
A special recognition goes to Ryker Basler and Richard Johnson Jr., who both participated in the All-Conference Band during their seventh- and eighth-grade years.
