Margie J. Mattingly, 92, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center.
She was born August 6, 1933 in Perryville, MO to Clyde and Elva (Moore) Brewer.
Margie and Bertrand V. Mattingly were married on April 26, 1952. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2007.
Margie’s main mission in life was raising her nine children and supporting the Catholic church in many ways. She loved cooking and praying.
She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church, the Ladies Sodality, Adorer of Christ in the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel, the prayer group at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Survivors include seven children, Mark (Terry) Mattingly of Perryville, Bruce Mattingly of Perryville, Lisa (Brian) McGivern of Edwardsville, IL, Connie (Steve) Prost of Perryville, MO, Kathy LaRose of Tallahasse, FL, Kent Mattingly of Perryville, Brady (Charleen) Mattingly of Carmel, IN; nineteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Kris Mattingly; daughter, Geralyn Buchheit.
Visitation will be 8:00 am to 9:50 am on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday, March 13, 2026 at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer with Rev. Joe Geders C.M. officiating.
Burial will be at Christ the Savior Catholic Cemetery in Brewer.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent Schools or Christ the Savior Cemetery.
