JACKSON — Buchheit announces their annual No One Fights Alone campaign throughout the month of October, dedicated to any and all that have experienced the travesty that follows a cancer diagnosis.
It is a rarity to find someone who has been unaffected by one of the most common diseases in the world. This year, it is even more important to support them as cancer fighters have weakened immune systems making the current circumstances with COVID-19 all the more difficult. So many fundraisers have been canceled because of the pandemic, but Buchheit will continue to fight this October raising funds to help those in our communities battling cancer.
The Buchheit family began the campaign in October 2015 by calling attention to breast cancer by decorating their retail stores in pink. In 2021, Buchheit has focused their attention on raising awareness for liver cancer by decorating all of their retail stores in emerald green. Each year a different cancer is highlighted as their way of combatting the disease, as the disease in one way or another, had touched several members of the family.
In the last 6 years since the campaign got its start, Buchheit has raised more than $60,000 for local organizations that provide services and treatment to cancer patients. This year, their goal is to reach $20,000 across all stores. All proceeds collected at Buchheit of Jackson will benefit the St. Francis Foundation.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and donation. Together, we can ensure that No One Fights Alone.
