PERRYVILLE — Candidates began filing Tuesday for the Missouri August Primary Election.
County Clerk Jared Kutz reported the following filings in Perry County:
Craig Brewer, associate circuit judge.
Mike Sauer, presiding county commissioner
Jared W. Kutz, county clerk
Jennifer A. Hotop, clerk of the circuit court
Katie Schemel, county treasurer
Caitlin M. Hoeh Pistorio, prosecuting attorney
Dena Preston, collector of revenue
Each of the candidates filed as Republican and all are incumbents, except for Dena Preston and Katie Schemel.
The County Collector and Treasurer positions have no incumbent as Rod Richardet and Kathy Schumer have announced they are retiring.
Filing ends March 29.
