Two Perryville residents are hurt in Iron County motorcycle crash

JEFFERSON CITY – Two 68-year-old Perryville residents were hurt in a motorcycle crash on Mo 221 in Iron County Saturday afternoon.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the male operator of the 2012 Harley Davidson had moderate injuries and a female passenger had minor injuries. The man was taken to Mercy-South, St. Louis by an Air Evac helicopter and the woman was taken to Parkland Hospital in Farmington by ambulance.

 

The patrol says the crash happened when the motorcycle ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned ejecting both persons.

 

The crash happened about 1:15 p.m. three mile north of Pilot Knob.

 

The Harley had moderate damage and was removed by Adams Custom Auto.
