JEFFERSON CITY, MO – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony today at Table Rock State Park in Branson to celebrate the opening of five new premium yurts.

The ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. in Campground 2. The five new yurts are available now, and reservations can be made by contacting the Reservation Call Center at 877-422-6766 from 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or by visiting www.icmapmo.com.
This project is one of several Missouri state park revenue bond projects across the state; more information on these projects can be found by visiting mostateparks.com/revenue-bonds.
The park opened the first full-service yurt in May 2017 in response to ongoing requests for lodging options at Table Rock State Park. This unique lodging experience was well received, and the high occupancy, along with guests’ positive responses to this lodging option, prompted the need to expand this amenity.
The new yurts include two bedrooms (one with a queen-sized bed, and one with twin bunk beds), air-conditioning and heating, full bathroom with tub and shower, a kitchen with a four-burner electric stove and oven, full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster, living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa, and televisions in the bedrooms and living room that offer DirecTV with local channels.
