SPRINGFIELD, IL – The Illinois Department of Agriculture (IDOA) announces a new location for the return of the Illinois Product Expo, taking place Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8. The popular event has outgrown the Orr Building and is moving to the Expo Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
For 27 years, the Illinois Product Expo has served as a premier showcase for Illinois-made food products, bringing together local businesses and consumers to celebrate the state’s rich culinary and agricultural heritage. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample and purchase a wide variety of products from Illinois-based companies, highlighting the quality and diversity of goods produced right here in the Land of Lincoln.
“We’re excited to move to a larger venue to accommodate a record number of Illinois companies at the 2026 Illinois Product Expo,” said IDOA Director Jerry Costello II. “With more than 100 vendors participating, the Expo offers consumers who are passionate about supporting local businesses a convenient, one-stop opportunity to shop Illinois products.”
“This year’s Illinois Product Expo brings together an exciting mix of innovative new businesses and beloved longtime favorites,” said Jackie Sambursky, IDOA Bureau Chief of Marketing. “It’s a unique opportunity for shoppers to sample an incredible variety of Illinois-made products, connect with the people behind them, and take home their favorite flavors and finds.”
Featured vendors include The Homestead Bakery, ReMARKable Caramels, Rolling Lawns Farm, Luka Popcorn, Siddity Pig Pork Snacks, Phoenix Bean, Turasky Meats, Engrained Brewing Company, 17th Street BBQ, and many more. The Illinois Wine Experience will showcase 14 wineries from across the state, offering guests the opportunity to sample and purchase their favorite Illinois wines.
Attendees can also take advantage of the popular $5 for 5 promotion: purchase five products and receive $5 in Expo Cash as a thank you for supporting Illinois agriculture.
The Illinois Product Expo is proudly sponsored by the Illinois Department of Agriculture, Illinois Farm Bureau, Hy-Vee, Illinois Wine, Harvest Market, FFA, Prairie Farms, and Turasky Meats.
