CHESTER – Memorial Hospital’s Specialty Clinic would like to welcome Dr. M. Adil Sheikh, MD to the Cardiology team of providers.
Dr. M. Adil Sheikh specializes in interventional cardiology with expertise in treating complex coronary artery disease and structural heart conditions.
Dr. Sheikh earned his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan and completed residency in Internal Medicine at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He then joined the Department of Internal Medicine faculty at the University of Michigan Medical School as a Clinical Assistant Professor. In 2024, Dr. Sheikh completed fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, followed by a fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sheikh joined the Prairie Cardiovascular team of cardiologist at the O’Fallon, Illinois location in 2025.
He joined the Cardiology Specialist team in February, offering outpatient cardiology clinics on Mondays.
