JEFFERSON CITY – The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 52-year-old woman from Macon, Georgia suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash on Route Y in Ste. Genevieve County Wednesday afternoon.
The patrol says the woman was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when a 2024 Honda CRV driven by the woman attempted to make a left turn onto eastbound Route Y from Enterprise Drive and the front end of her car struck the rear driver side of a westbound 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 41-year-old Farmington man.
The Farmington man was not injured. He drove the Silverado, which had minor damage, from the scene.
Both drivers were buckled up.
The Honda had moderate damage and was towed by Miner’s Towing.
The crash happened about 4:45 p.m.
