STE. GENEVIEVE – Lucille Hunsley has been named the Elks Student of the Month for January from Ste. Genevieve High School.

Lucille is the daughter of Jennifer Robbins and Lance Hunsley.
Lucille’s scholastic honors include: being ranked sixth in her graduating class, being in the Top 10 Percent of her graduating class, earning Summa Cum Laude, and receiving the 2023 Play Production award. Lucille has been a member of the following clubs and organizations: Tri-M Music Honor Society (president); Theatre Club (president); Thespian Honor Society (president); Speech and Debate (historian); Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA); and the A+ Program. Lucille has been recognized with the following honors: 2025 Choir All-District, 2025-2026 Choir All-State Honorable Mention, and the 2025-2026 Speech and Debate Prose Reading Regional Champion.
Lucille has brought a range of memorable characters to life on the SGHS stage. Her past roles include Morticia Addams in The Addams Family Musical, Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia! and Annabeth Chase in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical. She will next take the stage as Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical in March 2026.
Lucille is employed with Ste. Genevieve Country Mart as a courtesy clerk. In her free time, she enjoys singing, reading, playing with her two dogs, hanging out with her friends and playing card games with her family. Lucille plans to major in Middle and Secondary Vocal Music Education.
