Dorothy M. Grah, 95, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:16 am, Friday, January 9, 2026 at her residence.
She was born to the late Albert and Emma M. (nee Childers) Kuehne on December 22, 1930 in Jacob, Illinois.
Dorothy married Jack R. Grah on December 2, 1950 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on April 15, 1981.
She had worked as a commissary clerk for Chester Mental Health Center until her retirement.
Dorothy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester. She was also a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and Tripoli Club. Dorothy enjoyed playing dominoes with her friends and enjoyed Wednesday afternoon bible classes and helping with the Lutheran Braille Workers.

Memorial Service: 11 am, Thursday, January 15, 2026, Pechacek Funeral Homes, Chester, Illinois. Officiating: Rev. Timothy Sims
A private inurnment will be held at a later date.
