Ronald L. Richardet, 82, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at his residence.
He was born August 23, 1943 in Perry County, MO to Bernard F. and Mary Edna (Gibbar) Richardet.
Ronald and Doris Berkbigler were married April 8, 1967 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Highland, MO. They were blessed with 58 years of marriage.
He served in the Army National Guard and worked for the International Shoe Company for 27 years and later retired from Gilster Mary Lee after 24 years.
Ronald was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and American Legion Post #133. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. Ronald loved gardening, especially his roses, and taking care of his lawn and landscaping. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Ronald loved his wife dearly and was a wonderful example of how a husband and father should be.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; two daughters, Brenda (Brad) Knight, Gail (William) Bledsoe; two brothers, Thomas (Lois) Richardet, William (Joyce) Richardet; sister, Imogene (Gary) Zoellner; four grandchildren, Kristopher & Kristin Knight, Alison & Abigail Bledsoe
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Geraldine Zoellner and brother-in-law Gilbert Zoellner.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville and will continue from 8:00 am to 9:30 am on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at the funeral home. The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 am.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, January 10, 2026 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Rev. Joe Geders officiating.
Entombment will be at the Mary Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given for family use.
