Paul Lynn Schmidt, 58, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at his residence.
He was born March 11, 1967 in Perryville, MO to Lillian (Moonier) Schmidt.
Paul and Tammy Stoudt were married July 1, 2006 in Perryville, MO.
He worked as a fabricator for Gilster Mary Lee for many years. Paul had a great love for nature, feeding his deer and loving eagles. Paul enjoyed woodworking and working with his hands. He loved riding his dune buggy and hanging out with his friends and family. Paul would do anything for anyone.
Survivors include his wife Tammy; son, Paul “PJ” Schmidt, Jr.; two step-sons, Andrew (Alicia) Irvin, Ryan (Liana) Stoudt; step-daughter, Heather Irvin; two sisters, Joyce Favier, Sharon Brown; sister-in-law, Tina Williams; grandchildren, Joshua, Trey & Sebastian; nephews, Rick Favier, Rocky Favier, Brad (Brenda) Holifield, Chad (Kaye) Huber, David (Ashley) Williams, Wes (Jill) Barnett, Josh (Abigail) Stevens; nieces, Amanda Granito, Courtney (Brian), Mikayla Williams; great nephews; Zachary, Kaleb, great nieces; Katie, Trinity, Aubree, Brooklynn, Atalie, Freya and best friends, Byron & Ray.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Schmidt; sister, Charleen Stevens; brother, Gerald Schmidt; two brother-in-laws, Leander Doyle Brown Jr., Timothy Williams; mother-in-law, Sandra Leverenz and father-in-law, Edwin Schrank.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
