A funeral will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025 for 84-year-old Frederick “Fred” Burton Haley III of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at his residence.
He was born February 19, 1941 in St. Louis, MO to Frederick B. and Ruth (Valentine) Haley who both preceded him in death.
Frederick and Jeanette (Miesner) Haley were married at Salem Lutheran Church Farrar, MO on May 22, 1971.
Survivors also include a son: Joseph J. (Dawn) Haley; two daughters: Dawn (Jeff) Schrader and Brenda (Jerid) Burns; a brother: Richard (Patricia) Haley; eight grandchildren: Michael (Angela) Schrader, Chelsea Schrader, Megan Schrader, Makayla Burns, Katelyn Burns, Allyson Burns, Abigail Haley, and Joseph M. Haley; and two great-grandchildren Eliza Schrader and Jacob Schrader.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Donald Haley.
Fred served in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division.
He was a truck driver for Glister Mary Lee for more than 40 years.
Fred enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
He was a big football and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Fred also loved spending time with his family.
He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church Farrar, Mo.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Ford and Young Funeral Home.
Visitation will continue from 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo.
A funeral service for 84-year-old Frederick “Fred” Burton Haley III of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with Pastor Hellwege officiating.
Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Farrar, MO.
Memorial contributions may be given to Salem Lutheran Church and Saxony Lutheran High School.
