ST. MARY – The city of St. Mary has re-posted its notice of the upcoming April 7 election.
NOTICE OF ELECTION

The City of St. Mary, Missouri will hold a General Election on Tuesday, April 7th, 2025.
The purpose of this election shall be to elect the following city officials:
Mayor for a two (2) year term
Alderman Ward I for a two (2) year term
Alderman Ward I for a one (1) year term
Alderman Ward II for a one (1) year term
Candidates shall file a Declaration of Candidacy with the City Clerk at St. Mary City Hall located at 782 3rd Street, St. Mary MO 63673 beginning 9:00 AM on December 9th, 2025 until Tuesday, December 30th, 2025 at 5:00 PM. All candidates must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age. All must be citizens of the United States and a resident of the city for one (1) year preceding the election. Candidates for aldermen must be a resident of the ward from which he or she is elected. Any person filing for office shall not be in arrears for any unpaid taxes or municipal user fees on the last day to file a declaration of candidacy for the office. Candidates must file a Candidate’s Affidavit of Tax Payments and Bonding Requirements Form 5120 with Missouri Department of Revenue and provide a notarized copy upon filing. Copies are available at City Hall.
