Beth Ann De La Garza

In loving memory of Beth Ann De La Garza, 67 years of age, passed peacefully on

December 15, 2025. Beth was born on November 2, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa. She

was the youngest sibling of four. Her parents were Rodolfo Sisto De La Garza, Sr. and

Anita (Zamora) De La Garza.

 

Beth moved to Missouri with her parents as a teenager. She lived in Bonne Terre and

many surrounding areas. She married her first husband David Wayne Pannebecker in

1978. Beth and David were blessed with three daughters; Jennifer Nicole

Pannebecker, Christine Elizabeth Pannebecker and Amy Michelle Schultz.

 

Approximately 10 years ago Beth and her youngest daughters Christine and Amy

moved to Perryville, Missouri. Beth was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in August 2024 and fought very hard for almost a year and a half.

 

Beth was a talented baker, gardener, cook and very loving mother and grandmother.

She was famous for her chili, tamales and mile-high-pies. She enjoyed sunny days in

her garden, taking care of the De La Garza property and caring for her family.

 

She is survived by her three daughters Jennifer, Christine, Amy, her son-in-law

Stephen Linn Schultz and grandson Joshua Alexander De La Concha Pannebecker,

sisters Gloria (Phil) Stinson and Viola Spencer; nephews Brent and Kyle (LaRae)

Stinson and niece Laura Spencer, great-nieces and nephews; Anthony John, Katelynn,

Paige, Khloe and Austen. She was proceeded in death by her father, mother and

brother Rodolfo Sisto De La Garza, Jr.

 

Beth was a woman of faith and a devoted member of her church Fresh Anointing. She

was known for her beautiful smile, hugs, spirit and generosity.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held in her memory at Fresh Anointing UPC, 301 Delmar

St, Fredericktown, Missouri 63645 Officiant: Pastor Mike Sooter on Tuesday December

23, 2025 at 12:00pm.

 

A meal will be offered at the end of her celebration to commemorate her love for cooking. (will be held across the street from the church, 300 Delmar Street.)
