CHESTER — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has released its latest report of arrests.

 

Among those listed as arrested:

 

48-year-old Michael S. Delay of Louisville Kent., December 9, 2025 by Steeleville Police for unlawful possession of methamphetamine.  Pretrial Release.

 

49-year-old Valerie F. Schmitt of Freeburg, arrested December 9, 2025 by Randolph County Sheriff’s Office on a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on an unlawful possession of methamphetamine charge.  Is incarcerated.

 

37-year-old Mema Douwa of Chester, December 11, 2025 by Sparta Police for delivery of nitrous oxide. Pretrial Release.

 

44-year-old Steven M. Taylor of Elkville, Ill., December 13, 2025 by Randolph County Sheriff’s Office on a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a retail theft charge.  Is incarcerated.

 

48-year-old Michael S. Bert of Perryville, Mo., December 14, 2025 by Steeleville Police for methamphetamine trafficking, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful methamphetamine delivery.  Is incarcerated.
