STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Middle and High School Jazz Band participated in the Farmington High School Jazz Festival in November.
Students performed on stage and then participated in an educational clinic with Nate Nall – trumpeter, educator and composer from Kansas City.
The jazz band is an extra-curricular activity that meets once a week after school.
SGHS band students earn A+ tutoring hours or NHS service hours for mentoring and tutoring SGMS band students.
A school official stated, “We’re proud of the hard work and dedication our students exhibit in this ensemble! Nice work, dragons!”
