A memorial service will be held at a later date for 69-year-old Jimmie Dean Lindsey of Chester, Illinois, who passed away at 10:27 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at his residence.
He was born April 14, 1952 in Cocoa Beach, Florida, son of William and Earlean (nee Keeton) Lindsey Jr. who both preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters: Christina (Dave) Faulkner of Silver Spring, Maryland and Loretta Lindsey of DuQuoin, Ill.; a brother: Michael (Laura) Lindsey of Perryville, Mo.; four grandchildren: Amanda Rees, Justin Rees, Austin Lindsey and Chelsea Lindsey; and six great grandchildren: Nicholas Lindsey, Kynlee Lindsey, Noah Lindsey, Kymber Lindsey, Issac Lindsey and Cayden Lindsey.
Jimmie had worked as a truck driver.
He was a member of First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Chester, Illinois.
Jimmie enjoyed going fishing and hanging out with friends.
It was Jimmie’s wish to be cremated.
