Guardians Of Liberty in Southeast Missouri will hear program on 2026 Amendment 3

JACKSON – The Guardians of Liberty in Southeast Missouri will hear a program on the 2026 Amendment 3 presented by Sen. Mike Moon and Dr. Wes Scroggins when it meets Tuesday, December  16 at Delmonico’s Restaurant in Jackson.

 

The title of the program is “What the 2026 Amendment 3 will mean to the unborn”.

According to a news release presented by the Guardians: “The unborn can be terminated up to birth if the 2026 Amendment 3 is passed. Senator Mike Moon and Dr. Wes Scroggins will reveal the shocking verbiage in this amendment so voters can make informed decisions November 2026.”

 

Senator Mike Moon was re-elected in 2024 to represent the 29th District in the Missouri Senate. Prior to that he served the 157th District in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2013-2020. He was named the Most Constitutionally Voting Legislator by the Locke and Smith Foundation from 2017 to 2023. Senator Moon enjoyed a 28-year career in marketing at Mercy Hospital and currently works as a cattle rancher on his farms in Lawrence and Christian Counties. He has been the L Locke and Smith plaque recipient nine consecutive years for most constitutionally voting member of the Missouri General Assembly.

 

Dr. Wesley Scroggins is a Professor of Management at Missouri State University. Dr. Scroggins is the Executive Director of Abolish Abortion Missouri. He is active in the fight to end abortion in Missouri and works with state legislators on abortion abolition legislation. He also works to educate the church in the issues impacting the culture. He resides in Billings, Mo. where he operates a small farm.


The program will begin at 5 pm (Latecomers welcome) at Delmonico’s Steakhouse, 2951 Old Orchard Road, Jackson, Mo.      

 

It is free and open to the public.
