STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve has a new city administrator. He is David Bova. He has been serving as interim city administrator since the departure of Happy Welch, the previous city administrator. Before that he served as assistant city administrator and community development director.

The board of aldermen voted 8-0 in favor of Mayor Brian Keim’s appointment of Bova to the position.
The vote came near the end of an almost two-hour special meeting Tuesday evening. Most of the meeting was conducted in closed session.
The meeting was televised live on SteGenTV Channel 991 on the Spectrum cable system and is now available on the SteGenTV You Tube Channel.
